I have two (high maintenance) cats who absolutely hate their carrier and are extremely anxious when it comes to the vet. Having Dr. Catherine come to the house was such an amazing and comforting experience. Amazing, amazing vet.  Dr. Catherine reached back to me not only after hours, but was able to fit me in the very next morning.  Going to the vet in my house is,  unfortunately, a very traumatic for ALL of us. However, having a visiting vet made all the difference.  Especially when the vet is a cat whisperer. When the time came to say goodbye to my beloved cat, Maxwell, I couldn’t have asked for a more compassionate veterinarian than Dr. Catherine Knight. She came to our home and gave Maxwell the peaceful, dignified passing he deserved, surrounded by the people who loved him most. She treated him with such gentleness and kindness, and she treated my family with incredible compassion during one of the hardest days of our lives. A few weeks later, I received a beautiful handwritten sympathy card from her along with forget-me-not seeds. That simple act of kindness meant more than I can put into words. It reminded me that Maxwell wasn’t just another appointment to her, he truly mattered. Losing a pet is one of the most heartbreaking experiences, but Dr. Catherine made an impossible day feel peaceful and filled with love. I will always be grateful for the gift she gave Maxwell and for the comfort she gave our family. Thank you, Dr. Catherine. Dr. Catherine has been such an immense help to our family the last few months! We first met her when she helped our cat Charlie cross the rainbow bridge after a tough battle of cancer. Dr. Catherine made an extremely hard and sad situation as peaceful an experience as possible for us and Charlie. She was so kind and such a calming presence. She gave us ample amount of time with Charlie and made sure the process was painless and easy. She treated her with such care. Recently we had another issue with our other cat Pippa come up and she was able to come to our house the next day after we reached out and provide immediate solutions and came the next day for a follow-up appt. Saying goodbye to our beloved dog, Nikki, was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. However, I'm incredibly grateful for the kindness and compassion we were shown. Dr. Catherine and her husband were patient, gentle, and treated Nikki with so much dignity and love throughout the entire visit. They took the time to explain everything, never rushed us, and gave us the space we needed to say goodbye in the comfort of our home. As heartbreaking as the experience was, I can't imagine a more peaceful or caring way for Nikki to have crossed the rainbow bridge.
